Palaeography

Letters of the archaic alphabet of Thera: Koppa: vertical stroke extended into the bowl. Aspiration: represented as a closed rectangular with orizontal crossbar. Lambda: angular at the top. Omicron: smaller than the other letters. Pi: hook-shaped. Rho: angular bowl. San: used for the sibilant sound.
