Commentary

According to Hiller’s notes, the inscription is retrograde. Hiller does not provide a transcription. He hypothesized an iota before -ερων, but added: "nec potest esse Ἱέρων aut [h]ιέρων, quia ea aetate postularetur hιάρων." The graffito was not found, and therefore no reading can be proposed. In the absence of a transcription, it is also not possible to assess the letterforms.
